Wileta "Willie" Roberts, 86, of Hereford passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Hereford. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hereford with Pastor Chris Flickinger and Pastor Joe Elam officiating, burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Family and friend visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.

Willie was born February 5, 1933 in Tokio, Texas to Elmer and Addie (Whitley) Green. Willie has been a resident of Hereford since 1967. She graduated from Meadow High School in Meadow, Texas and shortly thereafter attended Draughon's Business School in Lubbock, Texas. She married Jerry Roberts in Meadow, Texas on December 7, 1952. Willie worked for the Brownfield County Clerk's office as the secretary, shortly she soon became a mother and a homemaker. Willie was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary, Simms Womens Club and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Hereford. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, being outdoors and traveling with Jerry in their R.V., but she especially loved her grandchildren, children and her husband, and her time with them was so precious to her and to them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Jerry Roberts of Hereford, Texas; two sons Larry Roberts and his wife Kathy of Clovis, New Mexico and Barry Roberts of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren Thomas Roberts and his wife D'Arcy of Spearman, Texas; Tory Roberts and his wife Ashley of Keller, Texas; Faith Roberts and Gabi Roberts both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four great grandchildren Marlow and Thayne Roberts of Spearman, Texas; Tate and Tayley Roberts of Keller, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Willie is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters Maudene Blount, Corene Bentley, Jewel Nessel and her twin sister Ireta Davis; two brothers Roy and Marvin Green.
