Vance Robinson, 79, of Hereford, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hereford with Ken Branum officiating. Interment will take place at Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas, at a later date. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Vance was born August 18, 1941, in Amarillo, Texas to Pat and Nedra (Richardson) Robinson. Vance has been a lifelong resident of Hereford. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1959 and attended Texas Tech University. Vance has been a farmer of produce all his adult life. He married Janis Medley on December 29, 1984. Vance's all time favorite hobby was fishing, and his passion was bulldogs. He and Janis spent their summers at Ute Lake at their lake house beginning in 1998 and stayed there every summer up until this past April. Vance loved a great practical joke he loved to harmlessly tease and always enjoyed a good laugh. Vance was a member of First Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Janis Robinson of Hereford, Texas, 2 daughters, Keile Proffitt of Texline, Texas, and Kellie Williamson and her husband Jerry of Ft. Worth, Texas, and his son, Kevin Kelley and his wife Vanessa of Dumas, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Wade Proffitt, Jarrett Proffitt, Chad Proffitt, Kayla Lanford, Jacob Williamson and Kelsey Kelley and 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Diane Justice and her husband Mike of McKinney, Texas, Theresa Schuffelbuger of Dalhart, Texas, and Kathleen McDuffie of Amarillo, Texas and a brother-in-law, Lynn Eaves of Inola, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vance will be joining his parents, his daughter, Kari Peterson, 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth, and Patrick Peterson, and his sister, Marsha Eaves in heaven.
