Tony Flores, 54, a longtime resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, August 4, 2025, in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant David Contreras officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 PM with rosary to begin at 6:00 PM.

Tony was born on November 10, 1970, in Laredo, Texas, to Antonio, Sr., and Maria Flores. He has been a resident since he was a much younger boy. He attended Hereford High School. He met the love of his life Angie Barrientos, in 1996, and they later married on July 25, 1998. Together they had a wonderful life and a beautiful family. Tony was employed for 25 plus years with George Warner Seed Company up until his death. Tony enjoyed watching the 49ers, having cookouts with his family and friends, dancing with his wife, listening to all types of music, especially Tejano music, scrolling on Facebook, spending time with his granddaughter, Penelope, playing volleyball at the YMCA, spending time with his boys playing football, running and getting them ready for their track races. Tony had many hobbies, but his most passionate and favorite of all was his family and getting to spend quality time with them. Tony's presence, smile and laughter will surely be missed by his family and those who love him dearly.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Angie Flores of Hereford, Texas; his children, Andrew Flores and his wife Marisol of Amarillo, Texas, Ernesto Flores of Hereford, Texas, Jessica Barrientos and her husband David Madrid of Hereford, Texas, and Juan Cano of Hereford, Texas; five grandchildren, Penelope Flores, Jesseli Cabrera, Arabella Barrientos, Joe Angel Madrid, and June Madrid; his sisters, Isabel Flores of El Paso, Texas, Violet Flores of Amarillo, Texas, and Jessica Flores of New Hampshire; and his best friend, Adolfo Martinez of Amarillo, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tony will be joining several of his family in heaven, his parents, Antonio, Sr. and Maria Flores, his two sisters, Veronica Aguilar and Charlene Rosas, his grandmother, Juana Ortega, his niece, Olivia Escobedo, and his in-laws, Felix and Maria Barrientos.
