Thomas "T.J" Capps, 57, of Hereford, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Hereford, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM at The Good News Church with Pastor Mick Mounce and Pastor David Alvarado officiating. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6:00 PM.

T.J has been a resident of Hereford, Texas for 12 years. He married Elisa Munoz in 2009. In T.J.'s younger years, beginning with the Pee Wee League through his high school years, T.J. was a bull rider and a very good one to say the least. He was awarded many belt buckles for his winnings. T.J was employed as a crane operator for B&K. He loved riding his motorcycle and hanging out with all his buddies. He enjoyed doing bike rallies and was involved with many benefits. T.J. had a heart of Gold and was always willing to help anyone in need, he would give the shirt off of his back if that was all he had. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, his wallet was always open for them. He was the life of the party and enjoyed entertaining his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Elisa Capps of Hereford, Texas, his son, Colton Capps of Santa Rosa, New Mexico, 3 step-children, Melissa Munoz of Hereford, Texas, Pedro M. Dominguez and his wife Alma of Dalhart, Texas, and Timothy Dominguez and his wife Mary Lisa of Amarillo, Texas; his dad, Ronnie Capps of Bryan, Texas, his mother Faye Cochran and his step-dad, David Cochran of Farwell, Texas; his sister, Kim Martinez and her husband Fabian of Clovis, New Mexico and his step-brother, Chad Culpepper of Lubbock, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

T.J. will be joining his maternal grandmother, Nova Willis, his paternal grandmother, Clara Capps, his maternal step-grandfather, C.J. "Pops" Willis, and his mother-in-law, Delfina Munoz in heaven.
