Terry "Toe Toe" Yerby, 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Dimmitt. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the funeral home. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Terry was born in Plainview, Texas to his loving parents, Ralph Yerby and Emma (McCourt) Yerby on May 17, 1956.

Terry was previously a long-time resident of Deaf Smith County.  Terry grew up in Hereford, he was active in FFA and rodeoed. He graduated from Hereford High Class of '75. Terry was a contractor for several years and traveled all over America, working with electrical and nuclear plants. When Terry had spare time, he enjoyed fishing and reading/watching old western movies. He loved his family dearly and will be remembered for his contagious laugh that was "one of a kind".

Terry's uplifting and humbled spirit will be carried on by his loving family; sister, Patricia Yerby Ballard and her husband Teddy of Fredericksburg, Texas, sister, Lisa Yerby Gilter and her husband Clay of Hereford, Texas, sister, Julie Yerby Clifton of Fort Worth, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Heather Sherrill and Shane of Brownfield, Texas, Chad Hardy and his wife Crystal of Lubbock, Texas, Clay Dason Gilter, Creed Gilter all of Hereford, Texas; his great nieces and nephews; Brooke Power and her husband Taylor of Wolfforth, Texas, Jace Richardson of Brownfield, Texas, Avery Ryker and Ripken of Lubbock, Texas.

Those that are preceding him in passing are his parents, Ralph Yerby and Emma (McCourt) Yerby; his brother, Dennis Yerby; his late wife, Moncella.
