Terry Sparks, 64, a lifelong resident of Hereford passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Hereford. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 13, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Hereford at 2:00 PM with Chaplain Dennis Latham officiating. Cremation services and arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Terry was born August 18, 1954 in Hereford, Texas to Bub and Georgia (Thompson) Sparks. Terry graduated from Hereford High School in 1972. A skilled floral designer, Mr. Sparks was a longtime owner of Terry's Floral and Designs and known for his creative talent, visionary imagination, beautiful bouquets, storybook weddings and lavish Christmas displays. He will be remembered for his dependable work ethic, fun sense of humor and generous, gracious spirit. Terry was devoted to his community, his work and those he loved.

Those surviving to cherish his memories are his soul mate Connie Matthews of Hereford, TX; his parents Bub and Georgia Sparks of Hereford, TX; a sister-in-law Ann Sparks of Frisco, TX.; brother John Richard Sparks and his wife Cheri of Big Spring, TX; a twin brother Jerry Sparks and his wife Cindy of Colorado Springs, CO; his aunt Alyce Sparks of Amarillo. TX; nieces and nephews Trey Sparks and his wife Kourtney, Mikayla Kinsey and her husband Jeremy, J. Rich Sparks and his wife Sarah, Andrew Sparks and Kelly Rose and her husband Zach; great nieces and nephews Korbin and Asher Kinsey, Breckham and Jettie Sparks and Will Rose.

Terry is preceded in death by his brother Gene Sparks.
