Terry K Murray passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the age of 75 in Hereford, Texas. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. The Murray family has entrusted Services to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Terry was born to her parents Alva Levi Vermillion, Jr., and Shirley Lucille (Ringo) Vermillion in Dalhart, Texas on September 11, 1949. Terry attended Tucumcari Schools and graduated from Tucumcari High Class of 1968. She moved to Hereford and raised her children, making Hereford home. Terry developed a tremendous work ethic that was simply unmatchable and was employed by Custom Cleaners, which she worked for several years, and she eventually had the opportunity to purchase this business and successfully operated Custom Cleaners. She worked very hard up until the day she retired in 2011. Terry then moved to Logan, New Mexico where she was able to enjoy her retirement days peacefully. Terry moved back to Hereford and resided here until she was rejoicing; Terry loved to spend time at family gatherings, she had a passion for old western music, such as Willie Nelson. She enjoyed her spare time crocheting, sewing, and quilting.

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, Joe Bob Murray and wife Denice of Thomas, Oklahoma, Todd Murray and wife Anna of Hereford, Texas; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Kelsey, Michael, Kandace, Samantha, Marissa, Anissa, Matthew, Briana, Kameron, Nathan, Seth, Davyn, Jorgen; 31 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Lu Lynn Vermillion Bratcher and husband Kenny of Tularosa, New Mexico, Jo Ann Vermillion Cassidy of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Those preceding her in passing are her parents, Alva Levi Vermillion, Jr., and Shirley Lucille Vermillion; her son Guy Murray; her grandson, Porfedio Murray.
