Teresa "Tere" Trevino, went to be in the Lord's presence on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the age of 90 years old, in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at San Jose Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. with Father Ramon Molina officiating, burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. A family and friend visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. with a rosary being recited at 6pm at the funeral home. The Trevino family has entrusted Funeral Services to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Teresa was born to her loving parents, Cayetano and Laurentina (Charles) Gonzalez in Lockhart, Texas, on March 9, 1934. Teresa was a long-time Hereford resident; she worked as a laborer in the Agricultural industry where she met the love of her life Sylvester Trevino. They got married in Lovington, New Mexico, and raised their beautiful family in Hereford while they worked as laborers. She was cursillo for the La Iglesia de San Jose La Misión where she attended church. Later in her life worked at the Ranch House of Hereford.

Teresa had a true passion for dancing and loved to play bingo, Toma Todo, Marbles and would always win against her grandchildren. She loved to buy lottery tickets and watch old western movies. Teresa had a big heart and raised her siblings at the age of nine years old, instilling many lessons in her family to carry on for eternity.

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, Raymond Trevino and his wife Gloria of Hereford, Texas, Katie Campos and husband Miguel of Amarillo, Texas, Mary Morrell and husband Robert of Colorado, Ricardo Trevino and his wife Gracie of Bayard, Nebraska; her sister, Cayatana Vargas; her daughter-in-law Mary Trevino Bayard, Nebraska; 36 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren; her fur baby Chacho of Hereford, Texas.

Preceding her in passing are her husband, Sylvester Trevino; her parents, Cayeto and Laurentina Gonzales; her children, Laura Vasquez, Lupe Galvan, Sylvester Trevino, Jr.; her grandchildren, B.J. Trevino; her great-grandchildren, Jesus, Raylene, Angelina, Zachary; three sons-in-law, Jesus Vasquez, Jaime Galvan and Mike Funk.
