Shannon "Shanook" Wells, 43, lifelong resident of Hereford passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in Hereford, Texas.  Memorial Service will be on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Spicer Grip Memorial Arena at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ken Varner officiating. Memorial and Cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Shannon was born on December 27, 1976 in Hereford, Texas to Tommy and Carroll (Pipkin) Wells.  He was a 1995 Hereford High School Graduate. Shannon married Crystal (Culver) Wells on October 16, 2004 and together had 4 beautiful children.  Shannon worked as an Equipment Operator at Roger's Group North of Vega for the last seven years but was known as a "Jack of all trades." He was a wonderful welder and would tinker with many things.  Shannon loved to cook and was great at it; he would feed anyone and everyone.  He enjoyed using the smoker to barbeque and liked to make his food spicy. Shannon was a family man and traveled all over to watch his kids rodeo or play sports. His favorite place they travelled to was Louisiana. He was known for his bargain shopping and was a treasure hunter and collector. His favorite snack was Sour Patch Kids. Shannon made everyone feel loved and was loved by everyone, he will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Crystal, children: Wyatt Wells, Jake Wells and Ridley Wells all of Hereford, TX, and Shalina Wells of Beaumont, TX; parents: Tommy and Carroll Wells of Hereford, Texas, Siblings: Kelly Cummings and her husband Joey of Abilene, TX, Kristi Menix of Snyder, TX, Rob McCollum and his wife Renee of Amarillo, TX, and Kay Marquez and her husband Leo of Rochester, WA; mother in-law Jackie Miller of Easter, TX; brother in-law Travis Culver and his wife Kayla of Hereford, TX; sister in-law Marline Froman and her husband Robbie of La Junta, CO and numerous nieces and nephews.
