Segundo Bosquez III, 44, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, in Skellytown, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Grant Spinhirne officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. A Family and Friend visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Segundo was born on November 25, 1980, in Friona, Texas to Segundo Bosquez Jr. and Margarita (Garza) Bosquez. Segundo attended school in Hereford where he met the love of his life and the mother of his children Cecilia Rodriguez. He has worked in trucking for the last 15-20 years and was currently working for Thomas Redi-Mix in Amarillo. Segundo enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, working on and cleaning his trucks, Wood Working, Model Cars, and Legos. He loved to cook and BBQ with his family, play football with his sons, help his sons install speakers in their vehicles, and cheer on his kids with all their activities. Segundo loved the Holidays making them extra special for his family with decorations. He was a kid at heart, a jokester and loved to make others laugh, especially his wife Cecilia. Segundo was a hardworking, loving, and caring son, brother, husband, father, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Segundo and Margarita (Garza) Bosquez of Hereford, Texas; wife Cecilia Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas; children, Patrick Bosquez, Izik Bosquez, and Meleena Bosquez all of Amarillo, Texas; sisters Melissa Clark and husband Joey of Amarillo, Texas and Cynthia Lopez and husband Mario of Amarillo, Texas; grandmother Manuela Garza of Asherton, Texas; nieces and nephews, Lauren and Ethan Clark of Amarillo, Texas, Erica Lopez of Michigan City, Indiana, and Anthony Lopez of Amarillo, Texas; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Manuel Garza and grandparents Segundo Sr. and Clemencia Bosquez.
