Sebastian "Sabas" Granados, 27, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Hereford. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant David Contreras officiating. Burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 PM and rosary to begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Sebastian was born on July 21, 1996, in Hereford, Texas, to Criselda Mendoza. He has been a resident of Hereford since 2013, he graduated from Hereford High School in 2014. Sebastian met and feel in love with his best friend, soulmate and mother of his children, Ariel Mireles, in 2014. Together they had a beautiful life and two wonderfully made sons, Damian and Carlos. Sebastian worked for Suarez & Sons Trucking for 3 years; he enjoyed working in the agriculture industry, driving a tractor and a truck. Sebastian had many hobbies, but the greatest loves of his life were his boys, his wife, and his pit bulls. He treasured his times of coaching for Kids Inc., volunteering for Hereford Sports and Wellness coaching football, basketball, and baseball. He was fond of watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and basketball, the Houston Rockets. He enjoyed fishing, having cookouts outdoors, but he also enjoyed cooking indoors for his wife and children, he loved working on his cars and being "Mr. Fix-it-All". Sebastian's presence, smile and laughter will surely be missed by all those who loved him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Ariel Mireles, and their 2 sons, Damian and Carlos Granados all of Hereford, Texas; his mother, Criselda Mendoza of Dimmitt, Texas; his brother, Zachary Mendoza of Dimmitt, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Priscilla Mendoza of Hereford, Texas; and several aunt and uncles, Ramona Suarez and her husband Alfredo of Hereford, Elena Campos and her husband Jesse of Dimmitt, John Mendoza and his wife Tina of Amarillo, Larry Mendoza and his wife Elva of Hereford, Sylvia Mendoza of Hereford, Yolanda Garcia and Carolina Delcid and her husband Abran all of Amarillo, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sebastian is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Jose Nieves Mendoza, and a cousin, Jonathan Mendoza.
