Sandra "Sandie" Beavers, 84, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services are under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Sandra was born on January 27, 1942, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to Clifford and Opal (Bandy) Moore. She attended school in Vega, Texas, where she was homecoming queen and an accomplished twirler at Vega High School.

In 1957, she married Manuel Beavers in Dawn, Texas. Together they built a life centered on family and raised three children. Sandra took great pride in being a stay-at-home mother and caring for her family. Later, she returned to school to study computer and data processing, along with accounting, and went on to work for Friona Coop Gin and Hereford Whiteface Aviation before retiring in 2000.

Sandra enjoyed knitting, painting, crocheting, and sewing. She welcomed new challenges and creative projects with enthusiasm and determination. Above all, she loved her family deeply, especially her children and grandchildren. Her presence, smile, and laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Brett Mitchell Beavers of Hereford, Texas; Kim Neugebauer and husband Larry of Dumas, Texas; and Chad Beavers of Hereford, Texas, six grandchildren: Brandon and Jared Beavers, Mikaila Beavers, and Shawn, Adam, and Jessica Neugebauer,  13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; her siblings: Jeannette Holmberg of Farwell, Texas; Jerry Moore and wife Sheryl of Dumas, Texas; and Linda Dudley of Amarillo, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Opal Moore, and by her husband, Manuel Beavers.
