Roy Guerra, 33, of Hereford passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 in Amarillo. Viewing will be Friday from 9:00 AM-9:00 PM at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Cremation services will be handled by Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.
Roy was born January 22, 1984 in Amarillo, Texas to Juan and Juanita (Zamora) Guerra. He graduated from Hereford High School in 2003. Roy was a chef and worked in several restaurants. He was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church. Roy enjoyed listening to music, dancing, cruising, his passion was wrestling, watching it on tv and participating in it, he loved social media, but his best moments were spending time with family and having family cookouts.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Juan and Juanita Guerra of Hereford, two brothers, Raul Guerra and his wife Angelica of and Robert Guerra and his wife LeeAnn all of Hereford and a sister, Priscilla Lopez and her husband Daniel of San Marcos, a uncle, Valdo Zamora and his wife Janet and his godmother, Maria Zamora all of Michigan and several nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles and aunts.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Antonio and Tomasa Zamora and paternal grandparents, Juan Guerra, Sr. and Francisca Guerra, three uncles, Martin and Jose Guerra and Ramon Zamora and two aunts, Teresa and Barbara Guerra.
