Rosendo Zamora, 83, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, in Hereford, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. There are no scheduled services at this time.

Rosendo was born on March 1, 1939, in Nordheim, Texas, to Julian and Aurelia (Chavarria) Zamora. Rosendo has been a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas. He has been a farm laborer most of his adult life. Rosendo loved farming and enjoyed living his life to the fullest.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter Guadalupe Z. Herrera and her husband Guadalupe F. Herrera of Yoakum, Texas; his siblings Florencio Zamora, Sr. and his wife Martha of Hereford, Texas, Celestina Lucio Zamora and her husband Victor Lucio of Florida, San Juana Zamora and her husband Rosendo of Mexico, Elvia Zamora Avila of Spearman, Texas, Maria Irene Zamora and her husband Felipe Luna of Hereford, Texas, Julian Chavarria and Johnny Zamora both of Amarillo, Texas; 8 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Rosendo is preceded in death by his parents, a son Silviano Zamora, a sister Rosita Zamora and a brother Jose Ramiro Zamora.
