Rosalinda "Rosa" Aranda, 69, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant Ramon Molina officiating and Deacon Robert Aranda assisting. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Hereford, Texas. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with a rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Rosa was born on July 15, 1952, to Teodulo and Dora (Navarro) Aranda in Laredo, Texas. She moved to Hereford in 1956 and has been a lifelong resident. Rosa enjoyed time spent with her family, relaxing, watching TV, listening to music, and doing word puzzles. Rosalinda enjoyed cooking and making homemade tortillas.

Those left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Roberto Aranda, Reynaldo Aranda and his wife Manuela, and Juan Aranda and his wife Maria all of Hereford, Texas; her sisters, Elvia Aranda and Diana Villegas of Hereford, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Junior Aranda and Rodolfo Aranda; and a sister Eva Mata.
