Rosa Fernandez, 75, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Sunday July 12, 2026, in Hereford.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10 AM at the Nazarene Family Church in Hereford with Pastor Carol Hartsfield officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the personal care and direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home in Hereford.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Rosa was born on June 18, 1951, in Stanton, Texas. She married Henry Fernandez and was a resident of Hereford for over 40 years. Rosa was a proud homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing, word puzzles, watching country music videos, baking and spending time with her children.

She is survived by her children; son Henry Fernandez and wife Yolanda Cruz of Amarillo, Texas, daughter Minnie Fernandez and husband Aaron Sanchez, son Richard Fernandez, and son David Fernandez and wife Ana all of Hereford, Texas; ten grandchildren, Andrew Cruz, Mari Fernandez, Letty Fernandez, Esmeralda Fernandez, Richard Fernandez, Jr., James Fernandez, Beida Gutierrez, Ernesto Ortiz, Mia Fernandez, and Violet Fernandez; great granddaughter Layla; a great grandson on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins from Brownfield and Seminole, Texas.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry Fernandez and brother, Pancho Campetio.
