Rogelio Roger Rocha, Sr., 64, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 2:30 P.M. at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant Ramon Molina. Burial to follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 12:00 -8:00 P.M. with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 P.M.

Roger was born on May 17, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas, to Adolfo and Anita (Martinez) Rocha. He married Mary (Barela) Rocha on November 23,1976, in Hereford; they celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary this November. Roger worked at Armor meat packing plant, Circle Three Feedyard as a load operator and truck driver for his own trucking company, Roger Rocha and Sons Trucking. He enjoyed playing and coaching softball and baseball. He coached his children and many others within Hereford. Roger's favorite holiday was Halloween; he loved Halloween parties and dressing up. He had a green thumb and liked yard work and gardening. Roger was very social and had many friends; he was a jokester and had a giving heart, but his greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Barela Rocha of Hereford, Texas; sons, Roger Rocha and his wife Desiree, Ryan Rocha, and Brandon Rocha, all of Hereford, Texas; son-in-law, Jorge Bravo of Hereford, Texas; grandchildren, Derek Bravo, Zoiee Bravo, Ashlynn Rocha, Dylan Rocha, RJ Rocha, Everly Rocha, Chloe Rocha, and Cashtyn Rocha all of Hereford, Texas; sister, Gracie Zepeda and her husband Ralph of Hereford, Texas; brothers, Lupe Rocha and Rocky Rocha and his wife Rosalinda both of Hereford, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo and Anita Rocha; daughter, Darlene Bravo; brothers, Adolfo and Abel Rocha; and sister, Gloria Cantu.
