Roger Johnson, 71, of Hereford passed away December 6, 2017 in Hereford, Texas. Services will be held at a later date in Gooding, Idaho. Cremation services are being handled by Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Roger was born November 24, 1946 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Delbert and Peggy (Groves) Johnson. He spent most of his life in Idaho managing dairy farms, and farm and ranching, he later moved to Arkansas. In 2011 he moved to Hereford to be closer to his son Shane. He enjoyed fishing when he wasn't working and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memories are 2 sons: Shane Johnson of Amarillo, Texas, Alex Johnson of Boise, Idaho, and 1 daughter Heidi Hurtado of Jerome, Idaho,  6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Florence Johnson.
