Rodrigo "Rigo" Morales, de 54 años, de Hereford, Texas, falleció el miércoles 17 de diciembre de 2025 en Hereford.

Rodrigo nació el 2 de octubre de 1971 en Sacramento, California, hijo de Rodrigo Andrés Morales, Sr. y Francisca Villezca Muñoz.

Rodrigo conoció y se enamoró de Juana Murillo López en Hereford, en la iglesia a la que asistían, New Beginnings. Llevan quince años casados y han disfrutado de muchos recuerdos maravillosos juntos.

Rodrigo era un manitas y reformador experimentado, reconstruyendo la casa que compartía con Juana. Ha trabajado durante los últimos cinco años en servicios medioambientales en el Hereford Regional Medical Center. Músico hábil, tocaba el teclado, la guitarra, el bajo y la batería, y dirigía fielmente el culto en la Iglesia Cristiano Centro Familiar.

Rodrigo era un buen marido, cariñoso y atento. Él y Juana disfrutaban de ir de compras los fines de semana en Amarillo y de las reuniones familiares durante las fiestas. A pesar de su enfermedad, seguía alegre, animando a los demás y alegrando su día con una actitud positiva, una sonrisa y una buena risa.

Los que quedan para atesorar sus recuerdos son su padre, Rodrigo Andrés Morales, Sr. de México; su esposa Juana Morales, de Hereford, Texas; los hijos, Vonnie Meléndez y su esposo Héctor González de Juárez, México; Karen Morales, Bryan Morales y Kevin Morales, todos de El Paso, Texas; hijastros, America Alvarado y su marido Tomás, Juanita López, Mike López y su esposa Valerie y Jehova Lopez, todos de Hereford, Texas; yerno Fransico Pérez; tres nietos; dieciséis nietos políticos; y tres bisnietos políticos; un hermano; y una hermana.

Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Francisca Villezca Muñoz Morales, y un hermano.

Un servicio de Celebración de la Vida en honor a Rodrigo será el sábado 3 de enero de 2026 a las 10:00 en la Iglesia Calvary Family de Hereford, con el pastor Israel Olivo oficiando. Los arreglos y los servicios de cremación han sido confiados a Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home de Hereford, Texas.

Rodrigo "Rigo" Morales, 54, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Hereford.

Rodrigo was born on October 2, 1971, in Sacramento, California, to Rodrigo Andres Morales, Sr. and Francisca Villezca Munoz.

Rodrigo met and fell in love with Juana Murillo Lopez in Hereford at the church they attended, New Beginnings. They have been married for fifteen years and have enjoyed many wonderful memories together.

Rodrigo was an experienced handyman and remodeler, rebuilding the home he shared with Juana. He worked for the last five years in environmental services at Hereford Regional Medical Center. A skilled musician, he played the keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums, and faithfully led worship at Centro Familiar Cristiano Church.

Rodrigo was a good, loving, and caring husband. He and Juana enjoyed shopping on the weekends in Amarillo and family gatherings during the Holidays. Despite his illness, he remained joyful, encouraging others and brightening their day with a positive attitude, smile, and a good laugh.

Those left to cherish his memories are his father, Rodrigo Andres Morales, Sr. of Mexico; wife Juana Morales of Hereford, Texas; children, Vonnie Melendez and her husband Hector Gonzales of Juarez, Mexico; Karen Morales, Bryan Morales, and Kevin Morales all of  El Paso, Texas; step children,  America Alvarado and her husband Tomas, Juanita Lopez, Mike Lopez and his wife Valerie and Jehova Lopez all of Hereford, Texas; son-in-law Fransico Perez; three grandchildren; sixteen step grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Francisca Villezca Munoz Morales, and one brother.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Rodrigo will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Calvary Family Church in Hereford, with Pastor Israel Olivo officiating. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.
