Rocky Kirk, 58, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Hereford. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Methodist Church of Hereford with Pastor Braden Ryan officiating. Arrangements and Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Rocky was born on September 20, 1966, in Fall River Mills, California., the son of Rebecca (Canada) Naylor and Hayden Naylor. He attended school in Boise City Oklahoma and graduated from Boise City High School. Rocky was extremely athletic, which he passed on to his children and a bit of a rebel; Rocky and Pebbles had some great times running around together. At 17 years old, Rocky leased his first semi-truck and proudly made a career in trucking and cow hauling. He married Marti (Coble) Kirk on December 23, 2005, at the First Methodist Church in Hereford surrounded by their children.

Rocky enjoyed time spent at the lake and any activity on or in the water, boating, fishing, and swimming.  He also enjoyed giving people a hard time, riding his dirt bike, taser tag with his boys, and playing board games, Uno, Joker, and Mexican train, during the holidays; but his greatest love and enjoyment were times spent with family, especially his grandchildren. Rocky was a thoughtful and giving Husband, and a great and loving Dad, Papa, and Uncle; he was kind, hardworking, a jokester, and enjoyed having a good time.

Those left to carry on his legacy are his wife Marti Kirk of Hereford, Texas; children, Michael Przilas of Hereford, Texas, Cody Kirk of Springfield, Colorado, Blayne Kirk (Hali) of Pampa, Texas, Shelbie Powers (Blane) of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Whitney Mullins (Dylan) of Hereford, Texas, Tyler Kirk (Marcus Burke) of Bootleg, Texas, Darby Collier (Jared) of Hereford, Texas, Tucker Moore of Chandler, Arizona, Paitlyn Kirk (Shane Rodgers) of Hereford, Texas, and Rylee Kirk (DJ Ramirez) of Hereford, Texas; grandchildren, Bexley Fowler, Haydn Fowler, Kaysen Kirk, Paizley Mullins, Karsyn Kirk, Briggin Vasquez, Kennedie Kirk, Mozelle Powers, Bendi Burke, Asher Powers, Harper Kirk, Blaze Rodgers, baby boy Chance on the way, and another bundle of joy on the way; sister Bernadette Anderson (Daniel) of Boise City, Oklahoma, brother Keith Naylor (Amber) of Bixby, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Lydia Martin, Wyatt Derrick, Zach Moore, Cole Naylor, Elizabeth Naylor, Morgan Derrick, and Kylee Derrick, sister-in-law Lauraie Moore, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Suzanne Coble.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hayden and Rebecca Naylor, brother-in-law David Moore, niece Devra Naylor, and nephew Korbin Derrick.
