Robert "Bobby" Baker, 77, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, in Hereford. Arrangements and cremations services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Robert was born on August 18, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas to RB and Gwenyth (Dewey) Baker. He moved to Hereford in 1957. Robert worked various jobs throughout his life including Mayfield in Amarillo, worked in California for several months, worked as his brother Billy's farm hand, and the last several years at Merrick Pet Food in Hereford. Robert was also a stage performer and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.  He liked listening to and playing Country music.  Robert owned and took care of a few goats, and he was known to be quite ornery.

Those left to cherish Robert's memories are his brother, Billy Baker and his wife Deborah of Sunrise Beach, Texas; nephews, Jerry Reeves, Jack Dulin, Tod Wilson, and Durven Baker; and nieces, Debbie Price, Devra Arjonas, Brittney Crain, and Stephanie Wolf.

He is preceded in death by his parents RB and Gwenyth Baker; three sisters, Margaret Reeves, Marjorie Dulin Freeman, and Maxine Wilson; and two nephews, Wayne Reeves and Mike Wilson.
