Richard M. Casias passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 5, 2024, in Hereford. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Richard was a life-long resident of Hereford where he was born and raised to his loving parents, Pedro Gutierrez Casias and Angela (Martinez) Casias on March 26, 1958. Richard truly enjoyed his own company and loved to be outdoors, mostly maintaining the yard. Richard worked many years in Carpentry before retiring.

Richard enjoyed watching old western movies and loved to try different kinds of food. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed dearly by all his family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Angela Martinez Casias of Hereford, Texas; his loving siblings, Pete Casias and his wife Anna, Gabriel Casias and his wife Yolanda all of Amarillo, Texas, David Casias and his wife Alma of San Antonio, Texas, Evelyn C. Rocha and her husband Frank, Nasario Casias all of Hereford, Texas, Alex Casias and his wife Maria of Jal, New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in passing are his father, Pedro Gutierrez Casias; his siblings, Janie Zepeda, Gloria Casias, Henry Casias.
