Regina "Kina" Carbajal passed away at the age of 75 years old in Amarillo, Texas on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving children. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Manny De Los Santos officiating at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. A family and friend visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 1:00-8:00 P.M. with a prayer service starting at 6:00 P.M. The Carbajal family has entrusted local arrangements to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Regina was born to her loving parents, Santiago Valdez and Constancia (Guardiola) Valdez on September 7, 1948, in Hereford, Texas. She was a life-long resident of Hereford; she attended Hereford Schools. She was married 46 beautiful years to her lifelong partner Victor Carbajal, together they created a beautiful, loving family.

Regina had a loving spirit and would greet everyone with her beautiful smile that was so radiant. She loved to spend time with her family, and they will cherish every memory and every lesson instilled in them. Regina enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, The Game Show Network, Family Feud, and Joyce Meyer. She had a true passion for dancing and was a good dancer, she truly enjoyed being uplifting and living in the moment. Regina loved to play Loteria and enjoyed tending to her plants. She loved to eat at Chicken Express (The dead chicken)

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, Arthur Valdez and his wife Andrea, Juan Ruiz all of Amarillo, Texas, Saul Carbajal and his wife Rachel, Ermelinda Maydon and her husband Noe, Sr., all of Hereford, Texas; her caring grandchildren, Ashley, Tyson, Josh, Paul, Alexus, Makayla, Lynzee, Gabriella, Nahdia, Hezekiah, Nehemiah, Noe, Jr., Adalyn; her great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Zendaya, Gideon; her loving sibling's, Carolina Ruiz and her husband Juan Ruiz, Bobby Valdez, Albert Valdez all of Hereford, Texas.

Those preceding her in passing are her loving husband, Victor Carbajal; her parents, Santiago Valdez and Constancia Valdez; her siblings, Corena Garcia, John Valdez.
