Rebecca Arredondo, 65, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with Celebrant Nick Gerber. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, at the funeral home from 1:00-8:00 P.M. with rosary starting at 6:00 P.M.

Rebecca was born on October 1, 1956, in Hereford, Texas to Jose E. Ramirez and Eulalia (Resendez) Ramirez. She married Carlos Arredondo, Sr. on March 6, 1976, they shared 45 years together. Rebecca worked as a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; her everything. She attended all their school and sporting events, cheering proudly for them. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church. Rebecca enjoyed sewing, listening to K-LOVE, and cooking for her family.  She loved to cook a big Sunday breakfast for her family and homemade flour tortillas for her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are husband Carlos Arredondo of Hereford, Texas; children, Monica Hernandez and her husband Emilio, Carlos Arredondo, Jr. and his wife Sara, Lori Cisneros and her husband Vincent, and Amy Martinez and her husband Leonardo all of Hereford, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew Hernandez, Alexia Hernandez, Adrian Cisneros, Abram Martinez, Alijah Cisneros, Emma Arredondo, Zoe Cisneros, Carlos Lorenzo Arredondo, and Ayden Martinez all of Hereford, Texas; siblings, Josie Nava, Oralia Nava and her husband Juan, Sr., Juanita Ramirez, Gloria Figueiras and her husband Mario Sr., Richard Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez and his wife Barbara, and Maria Martinez and her husband Vincente all of Hereford, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rebecca has joined her grandson Aaron Gabriel Martinez, her parents Jose and Eulalia Ramirez, brother Ruben Ramirez, and brother in-law Willie Nava in heaven.
