Raymond "Leo" Hollowell, 84, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas with Pastor Sam White officiating. Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Raymond "Leo" Hollowell was born on November 30, 1938, in Albany, Oklahoma to Kenneth Wilson and Ruth Evelyn (Shull) Hollowell. Raymond has been a resident of Hereford since 1962. Raymond married the love of his life Tawanna Harbert on November 4, 1960, in Borger. He owned and operated Whiteface Barbershop for 30 plus years. After retiring he enjoyed playing golf and enjoyed working as the greenskeeper for 10 years. He enjoyed walking daily at the YMCA, loved horse racing and he owned a racehorse named "She's a Texan". He enjoyed watching all sports, he was an avid  Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. He was very loyal to his state and loved to be outdoors, camping, water skiing and snow skiing in Colorado and New Mexico. He will be missed by so many that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Tawanna Hollowell of Hereford, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Lee Murry and her husband James of Pueblo, Colorado; son, Curtis Ray Hollowell and his wife Dana of Serafina, New Mexico; one grandson, Justin Lee and his wife Meagan of Pueblo, Colorado; one great-grandson, Hunter Lee of Pueblo, Colorado

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lavina Culver
