Randolph "Randy" Cawthon, 67, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Hereford, Texas. Cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Randy was born on August 12, 1953 to E.W. "Bud" and Lurline J. (Dixon) Cawthon. He was a lifelong resident of Hereford. He enlisted in the Army and served one tour before being honorably discharged. Randy worked as a handyman on many jobs around Hereford. He enjoyed wood working and building things. Randy loved to learn, read, and watch educational shows. He liked fishing, golf, martial arts, and collecting hats. Randy was an outspoken man. He loved his son Eric and stepson Marshall.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son Eric Warner Cawthon of Big Spring, TX, stepson Marshall Wright of Wolfe City, TX, sister Lynnette Bryant of Amarillo, TX, friend James "Bo" Jahns of Hereford, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
