Ramon T. Garcia, 90, of Hereford, Texas passed away Saturday April 4 ^th , 2020 in Hereford. Graveside service will be held Wednesday April 8, 2020 at 10:00 at St Anthony's Cemetery with Celebrant Father Tony Neusch.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 1:30-8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Rosary will be held Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.  Due to mandates that have been placed on the funeral home at this time, there will only be 10 people allowed in the funeral home for both viewing and for the rosary and only 10 people allowed at the burial.

Ramon was born August 31, 1929 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Isidoro and Albina (Trevino) Garcia. He married Maria Guadalupe Gallegos in August of 1951.  Ramon has been a resident of Hereford for 62 years. He worked as a ranch hand in the Hereford area.  Ramon attended San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford.  He enjoyed driving tractors, getting a coke from Pak-a-Sak, eating his favorite enchiladas in Dimmitt, and enjoyed all things sweet. He loved planting gardens a crop which included tomatoes, corn, carrots and bell peppers; He would say, "let's see what will grow."

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Maria Guadalupe Garcia of Hereford, two daughters Rosa G Garcia of Hereford and Rebecca Garcia of Hereford; three sons Relles Garcia Sr. and wife Sylvia of Amarillo; Rafael Garcia and wife Courtney of Amarillo; and Rodolfo Garcia and wife Amanda of Hereford; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Ramon is preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters; 5 brothers; and 2 daughters; Rosario Garcia and MariAna Garcia.
