Ramiro "Medo" Luz Garcia, 56, of Hereford, Texas, passed away peacefully and entered his eternal home in heaven with his Lord and Savior, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Hereford. Celebration of Life services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Genesis Church of Hereford with Pastor Benito Villarreal and Pastor Gary Tigue officiating. Arrangement and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.

Ramiro was born on September 11, 1968, in Rupert, Idaho, to John Ramiro and Mary Lou (Mendoza) Garcia. Ramiro has been a resident of Hereford since 1981. He went to work at an early age, learning great qualities and work ethics from his grandpa. He later met and married the love of his life, Angela Steward, on August 13, 1988, in Hereford, Texas. Together, he and Angie had a wonderful life and a beautiful family. Ramiro worked for his family's trucking business for several years, Mendoza and L & M Trucking, he later owned and operated his own trucking business, G & M Trucking. Ramiro took much pride in his work and was very respected in the truck driving industry. He was genuine, solid, a great provider, soft-hearted, hard-working and never admitted to being wrong. Ramiro loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his little brother Anthony. He enjoyed cookouts, his beans with every meal, spending quality time with his family, watching his grandchildren play and drinking his Michelob Ultra. Ramiro's presence, smile and laughter will be dearly missed by many.

Those left to remember and cherish his memories are his wife, Angie Garcia of Hereford; his children, Selita Gonzalez and her husband Roman, Jessica Garcia and Matthew Garcia all of Hereford, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Destiny Marquez, Gabriel Marquez, Zaybre Garcia, Aleah Marquez, Ramiro Garcia and Jaelyne Gonzalez; his brother, Anthony Garcia and his wife Tina, and his sister, Jennifer DeLaCruz all of Hereford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ramiro is preceded in death his parents, his sister, Michelle Garcia and his grandparents, Luz and Delores Mendoza.
