Priscilla Martinez, 47, of Hereford passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Hereford. Viewing will begin on Saturday, March 28, 2020 from 1:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to the COVID-19 virus the mandate given to the funeral home is that only 10 people total will be allowed at any given time to be in the funeral home. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Memorial services will take place at a later date.

Priscilla was born December 5, 1972 in Pearsall, Texas to Celestino and Estella (Reyes) Garcia. Priscilla has been a resident of Hereford most of her life. She attended Friona schools. Priscilla married Ruben Martinez on September 16, 1994. She was employed at the Flying J in Vega, Texas and had been there for about a year. Priscilla enjoyed spending time with her family, cook-outs, road trips and more than anything else she loved her children.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Ruben Martinez of Hereford; three daughters Esperanza Fernandez, Jennifer Garcia, and Lilliana Martinez all of Hereford; her father Celestino Garcia of Louisiana; three sisters Melissa Garcia, Jessica Garcia both of Hereford and Lisa Herrera and her husband Jesus of Olton, Texas; three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her mother, a daughter Analicia Martinez and her grandmother Teresa Vasquez.

The Martinez family is asking for donations for Priscilla's funeral expense. Those donations can be made to the funeral home either by phone or coming in.
