Priscilla Lacey, 73, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Sunday January 31, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Nick Gerber officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. with rosary beginning at 6:30 P.M at the funeral home. Due to the Covid-19 mandates we ask that you wear a mask provided by you if attending mass, viewing or rosary. Your health and safety matter to us.

Priscilla was born on March 19, 1947 to Robert Nelson Sr. and Lillie Marie (Childress)Beville in Paris, Texas. She married Edward Charles Lacey III on July 18, 1969. Priscilla graduated from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga with a bachelor's degree in education. She has been a resident of Hereford since 1988. Priscilla worked as a school teacher for Hereford Independent School District for 34 years up until her illness. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Priscilla loved going to the lake, reading, and spending time with her grandkids including going to the beach. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters Ann Davis and her husband Grant of Hereford, TX, Lori Betzen and her husband Phillip of Amarillo, TX, and son Eddie Lacey of Hereford, TX, eight grandchildren, Jonathan Davis, Jacob Davis, Tye Davis, Lacey Davis, Brady Hochstein, Karyss Betzen, Bryce Betzen, and Brooke Lacey, one great grandchild Lexie Davis, and sister-in-law Camille Beville of Hereford, TX.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband Edward Charles Lacey III, and one brother Robert Beville.

In lieu of flowers a memorial may be sent to Texas Panhandle Centers, 218 N. 25 Mile Ave., Hereford, Texas, 79045.
