Patsy Lee Sparkman, 78, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Frio Baptist Church in Hereford with Pastor Guy Atkinson and Kirk Sparkman officiating.  A private family burial will be held at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Patsy was born on October 22, 1943, in Amarillo, Texas. She has been a lifelong resident of Hereford and was a 1962 Hereford High School Graduate.

To everyone who knew Patsy, they would say that her most undeniable trait was her devotion to our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where she is so graciously being held in his arms. Her life was spent as a dedicated, loving wife for just short of 60 years. Through the years of love she built with Tommy, she became a loving mother who spent her time teaching her children to walk the righteous path. In fact, she was so dedicated to her children's obedience, they lovingly referred to her as "Hitler" Her three second warnings started at two and had no three. Her grandchildren became her life, where they spent many of their summers at "Grammy Camp," loving spending time with her in the yard and garden learning about life and Jesus. And they're all resting a little easier knowing she is reunited with Vanessa in Heaven. A woman who worked tirelessly at all she did, most notably her devotion to the members of Frio Baptist Church and caring for the community through her work at the Food Pantry. Though she left behind large shoes to fill and holes in the hearts of those she left behind, we know she was ready to be with Jesus and would tell us to quit crying because "it'll cause wrinkles."

She is survived by : Husband, Tommy Sparkman; Children, Kevin Sparkman, Kirk Sparkman and wife Shawnay, Kandi Bell and husband Heath; Grandchildren, Tyrell Sparkman and wife Kaylee, Savannah Ouellette and husband Tyrell, Jacob Bell, Sarah Sappington and husband Jacob, Maggie Carathers and husband Brandon; Great-grandchildren, Sage Sparkman, Trentyn, Rylee, and Remi Ouellette, and Noah Sappington; Brother, Roland Livesay and wife Renea, Sister-in-law Bonnie Baldwin and husband Eugene, Darlene Richardson and husband Jerry as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.

Preceded in death by: Mother Annie Werner; Father, Pete Livesay; Brother, Howard Livesay; Grandparents, W.C. Flack, Norman and Daisy Livesay; Granddaughter, Vanessa Sparkman.
