Patricia Ann "Pat" McCoy of Hereford, Texas passed away on November 25, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 74.

Pat was born on July 25, 1951, in Durango, Colorado, to Robert and Lenore (Tangreen) McCoy. She managed several Dairy Queens, worked as a receptionist, bookkeeper, and phlebotomist and had various other positions at a doctor's office. In addition, Pat was employed at a local feedyard.

She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church in Hereford where she served as Relief Society President with great commitment and pride. She faithfully attended church and temple.

Pat demonstrated a strong proficiency in gardening. She cultivated fig trees, blackberries, raspberries, asparagus, and a variety of other fruits and vegetables. She enjoyed photography and devoted time to researching her family genealogy. She was an excellent and skilled baker, and she made the very best bread and pies.

Pat was kind, loyal, down to earth, and had a good sense of humor. Hereford was truly home to her, and she was loved by many friends and neighbors.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two brothers, Robert McCoy and Jim McCoy and his wife Penny, both of Bayfield, Colorado; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Lenore McCoy and her three sisters Evelyn McCoy, Sue Decker, and Julie Baird.

A Celebration of Life Service for Pat will be on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hereford with President Rohm officiating. Burial will take place in Bayfield, Colorado at a later date and time.
