Pat Manchee, 80, of Hereford, Texas passed away on January 9, 2020 in Hereford. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 10:00AM in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Flickinger officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery under the direct care of Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home.

Pat Manchee was born on April 20, 1939 in Nixon (Union) Texas to Paul Woodall and Verla (Mobley) Woodall. She spent a great deal of her childhood with her grandmother, Pearl Mobley, who was always "Granny" to her. Her stepfather, Eldon Casey was in the United States Air Force and the family travelled to several bases throughout her school years. She attended schools in San Antonio, Las Vegas, Nevada and Del Rio, Texas and finally graduated from Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas. Pat graduated from Draughon's Business College in Lubbock and worked for the Veteran's Administration in Lubbock for 5 years. She attended Texas Tech and West Texas State University. She met Mal in Lubbock and they married in 1959. While in Lubbock, they added Pat's brother, Eldon (Butch) Casey to the family. When Mal graduated from Texas Tech University they moved to Friona, Texas where he began his teaching career. Pat worked as a school secretary for a year and then went to work for the Selective Service Board in Hereford as executive secretary for the next four years. The family moved to Hereford in 1968 when Mal took a job in the school district. After moving to Hereford, Pat received her real estate license and became active in the rental management business. She continued in the business for the remainder of her life. In addition to this she also was involved in the operation of "Jim's Plumbing" and was the assistant manager of Hereford City Swimming Pool for 22 years.

They would later have three children: David, Mike, and Karen, all who graduated from Hereford High School and Wayland University and are currently involved in public school education. Josh Casey later lived with the family. She was always involved in the many activities of all her children. This included many music lessons, sports practices and games and any other activity she could find for them.

Pat was active in church work teaching Sunday School in the children's department at First Baptist Church for some 40 years and later was involved in children's work at Hereford Nazarene Church. She enjoyed her church, family and travelling. Pat was able to go to all fifty states and made many lifelong friends in the process. She most enjoyed vacationing in Red River, New Mexico and Quarryville, Pennsylvania.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Mal Manchee of Hereford, TX, 3 sons, Butch Casey and wife Ann of Hereford, TX, David Manchee and wife Heather of Amarillo, TX and Mike Manchee and wife Amy of Amarillo, TX, 1 daughter, Karen Ysaguirre and husband Rey of Hereford, TX, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren along with special friends, Sylvia Hamilton and Jesus Castillo.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Verla Woodall and 2 grandsons, Josh Casey and Eldon Casey.
