Pam Word Betts, 57, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, in Hereford, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. There are no scheduled services currently.

Pam was born December 2, 1964, in Friona, Texas, to H.L "Skeet" and Betty (Brannon) Word. Pam was employed at several fast-food restaurants in Hereford. She enjoyed aggravating her older sister Paula, drawing, painting, playing on her kindle and visiting with old high school friends. Pam was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother, she will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children Kenneth Bishop of Houston, Texas, and Heather Bishop of Dallas, Texas; her sister, Paula Harrell and her husband Mike of Hereford, Texas; 2 nieces Tonya Anderson of Hereford, Texas, and Tasha Straskulic of Amarillo, Texas, and 2 nephews Mark Harrell of Hereford, Texas and Jay Harrell and his wife Tasha of Cedar Creek, Texas.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents, a son Charles (Rocky) L. Bishop and 2 sisters Sue Straskulic and Gail Word.
