Oscar "Meyer" Pesqueda, 70, of San Antonio formerly of Hereford passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 in San Antonio. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 AM at La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church with Rev. Ramon Molina Mora as celebrant, burial to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery of Hereford. Arrangements are being handled by Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. Rosary will be Thursday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Oscar was born June 28, 1947 in Charlotte, Texas to Manuel and Herminia (Gonzales) Pesqueda. He was a resident of Hereford for 50 years and the last ten years he has resided in San Antonio. He married Dora Ruiz in 1986. Oscar was a self-employed welder and a member of La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford, member of the C.C. Riders and Abate member. Oscar rode and helped organize the Toys for Tots and was very active with helping with any and all children organizations. Oscar enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his biker friends and family, cooking out and being the life of the party with his stories and jokes but above all this his greatest love was his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dora Pesqueda of San Antonio, three daughters, Leticia Liscano and her husband Ruben of Plainview, Belinda Pesqueda of Hereford and JoAnn Gamez and her husband Rojelio of Plainview, two sons, Oscar Pesqueda, Jr. and his wife Jeanette and Omar Pesqeda and his wife Savannah all of San Antonio, a brother, Ruben Pesqueda and his wife Maria of Joshua, two sisters, Santos Gonzales and Delmira Soto and her husband Raul all of Hereford, 25 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Maria Mendoza Pesqueda and two brothers, Manuel Pesqueda, Jr. and Rudolfo Pesqueda.
