Ofelia "Feli" Villarreal, 74, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Miguel Trejo officiating. Burial to follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ofelia was born on September 26, 1947, in Beeville, Texas to Juan and Benita (Bela) Barrientes. She married Lusiano Villarreal on February 28, 1971, they shared fifty-one years together. Ofelia and Lusiano moved to Hereford in 1982. She worked many years at McDonalds and then as a caretaker for the elderly. Ofelia was a member of the spanish congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hereford, she dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized on August 10, 1985. Ofelia loved to read her Bible, preach, and share her faith with others. Ofelia enjoyed taking care of animals, especially the neighborhood cats and dogs.

Those left to cherish her memories are husband, Lusiano Villarreal of Hillsboro, Texas; brother, Jessie Barrientes and his wife Janie of Elgin, Texas; and sister, Odelia Lemaster and her husband Kyle of Allison, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
