Nemecio Limon, 84, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant Ramon Molina. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Nemecio was born on July 6, 1938, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Anatolio and Guadalupe (Chavez) Limon. Nemecio was a longtime Hereford resident and a San Jose Catholic Church member. He was married to Maria Limon, and they shared many wonderful years before her passing. Nemecio worked as a Farmer; he was a hardworking man who loved his family and took great pride in providing for them. He loved to sing, play cards, and was outspoken. Nemecio was called "Ito" by his grandchildren; he was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Guadalupe Limon Dominguez and her husband Pedro of Westminster, Colorado, Jose Limon and his wife Claudia of Hereford, Texas, Carolina Limon of Hereford, Texas, Nemecio Limon, Jr. and his wife Nora of Greeley, Colorado, and Mary Limon of Canyon, Texas; twenty grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Concepcion Limon and her husband Jose Erivez of Mexico; and brothers, Anastacio Limon and his wife Sylvia of Dallas, Texas and Alonzo Limon and his wife Leticia of Phoenix, Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Anatolio and Guadalupe Limon; his wife, Maria Limon; brother, Anatolio Limon Jr.; sister, Augustina Limon; and a granddaughter Alejandra Mireles Limon.
