Myra Copley, 72, formally of Muleshoe, Texas, passed away on February 2, 2021 in Amherst, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Bailey County Cemetery in Muleshoe, with Pastor Jeff Coffman officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Myra was born on June 21, 1948 to Eugene Frank and Romona Ellen (Bolin) Frazier in Lubbock, Texas. She married her husband Jimmy Copley on May 1, 1965 and they shared 52 wonderful years together. Together they resided in Muleshoe, Texas. Myra was an extremely hard worker, doing what she could to help provide for her family. She took great pride in her husbands Hay Hauling company and would spend countless hours by his side helping however she could, when she wasn't busy with the Hay Hauling company, she would help out on her family's pig farm in Perryton. She was a one of the first members of the Bailey County Young Homemakers and a big helper with the Bailey County Extension projects and volunteered as Cub Scouts Den Leader and girls' softball coach.

Myra loved arts, crafts, and painting, she was an avid birdwatcher, spent countless hours tracking family heritage before internet was available, she gardened, and canned her goods from the garden, and loved to help care for the family animals. She especially loved caring for the horses, she loved to ride and break horses.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Reneé Copley of Muleshoe, TX and Carrol Fisk and her husband Robert of San Antonio, TX, one son, Lee Copley and his wife Tammy of Amarillo, TX, and one informally adopted lifelong sister Donna Perry and her husband Micheal of Birmingham, AL, her five sisters, Barbara Scott, Glenda Price both of Muleshoe, TX Mary Havens, Dona Bolin of Perryton, TX, Becky Freeman of Balko, OK, one brother, Mark Adair of Perryton, TX, seven grandchildren, Dakota Wilt, Zachary Epperson, Sarah Bartholf, Dustin Copley, Brady Copley, Jessi Samson and her husband Brian, Kenny Price and his wife Kristian, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Myra is preceded in death her husband Jimmy Copley, her parents, one sister, Debbie Hoelscher, and one brother, Jim Adair.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Dove Creek Equine Rescue, 16201 Gordon- Cummings Rd., Canyon, Texas 79015.
