Mike Gallagher, 83, a lifelong resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Waco, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Celebrant Grant Spinhirne officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Viewing will be on Friday from 2:00-8:00 PM and rosary at 6:00 PM at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Mike was born on July 2, 1941, in Hereford, Texas, to John and Anna (Grimm) Gallagher. Mike married the love of his life, Ruby, on August 19, 1970, in Hereford, Texas, and together they had a beautiful life and family. He worked at Plains New Holland for 25 years, later working for Farmers Feedstore and retiring from working for Yosten's Farm. Mike enjoyed drag racing in his 1973 black Chevy pickup named "Black-N-Blue & Bad", fishing and taking many fishing trips, hunting deer, dove and pheasant, and spending quality time with his children playing baseball. Mike has been a longtime member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Those left to remember and cherish Mike's memories are his children, Shane Gallagher and his wife Jeannie of China Spring, TX., Tommy Gallagher and his wife Amanda of Amarillo, TX., and Michelle Brady of Dilley, TX; 6 grandchildren, Emily Acevado, Kari Easley, Justice Easley, Alyssa Gallagher, Tye Gallagher and Garrett Wolfe; 5 great grandchildren, Hannah, Santiago, Frankie, Jr., Khaelyn, and Elly; 2 great-great grandchildren, Hadlee and Axvry; his sister, Pat Gaume of Kansas City, MO., 2 sisters-in-law, Von Gallagher of  Hereford, TX., and Joy Gallagher of  Uvalde, TX.

Mike is joining his parents, his wife, Ruby Gallagher, his siblings, Johnny Gallagher, James Gallagher and his wife Margaret, Don Gallagher, and Fred Gallagher, and 1 sister Helen Cain and her husband Dr. Jerome Cain and 1 brother-in-law, Edward Gaume in heaven.
