Mickey Mireles, 48, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, in Hereford, Texas. Memorial Service will be on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ruben Coronado officiating. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral of Hereford, Texas.

Mickey was born on January 7, 1973, in Hearne, Texas to Ramon Mireles and Rosa Montelongo Garza. He was a lifelong resident of Hereford and attended Hereford schools. Mickey worked many years as the Rent A Center Manager and a couple of years for Hereford Independent School District in the special needs department. Mickey enjoyed baking and was known to many as the "Candyman", he made candied flowers, jolly rancher flowers, and chocolate covered strawberries for many parties and quinceañeras.  He also made the best green bean casserole. Mickey was a San Francisco 49'ers fan, loved to play the keyboard, loved tattoos, and was a devout Republican, Trump supporter, and debater. He loved people and would help in any way he could with what he had; he also tremendously loved his daughter Keera. Mickey was a "Regulator" …gone to soon.

Those left to cherish his memories are his grandmother, Virginia Mongold of Hereford, Texas; mother, Rosa Montelongo Garza of Hereford, Texas; daughter, Keera Mireles of Amarillo, Texas; sisters, Pricilla Marquez Mireles, Melissa Mireles, and Catrina Mireles all of Hereford, Texas; and a brother, Adrian Garza of Hereford, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father Ramon Mireles, uncle Salvador Bruno, and grandparents Pablo and Victoria Mireles.
