Michelle "Shell" Solita Garcia Martinez, 41, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor LJ Vallejo officiating at Genesis Church of Hereford, Texas. Family and friend visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services are under the direct care of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Michelle was born on January 2, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Ramiro and Mary Lou (Mendoza) Garcia. Michelle was raised in Hereford with all of her Mendoza cousins, she was very independent and was an over the road truck driver. She loved to spend time with her family but most importantly being with her nieces and nephews and grandbabies. Michelle will be remembered by her classy look and fashionista taste and of course a smile that she always had.

Those left to cherish her memories are her soul mate Andrew Burns of Amarillo, TX., her children Jaime Rico of Houston, TX., Kaleb Crosby of Hillsboro, TX., Hailey Garcia of Hereford, TX., Marquis Hood of Amarillo, TX; three grandchildren; two brothers Ramiro Garcia and his wife Angie of Hereford, TX., Anthony Garcia and his wife Tina of Hereford, TX; one sister Jennifer DeLaCruz of San Angelo, TX; she was loved by many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.

Michelle is preceded in death by baby Marcus Anthony, her parents John Ramiro and Mary Lou (Mendoza) Garcia, her grandparents Luz and Delores Mendoza
