Mayolo Jimenez, 65, of Hereford passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Hereford.

Mayolo was born April 29, 1953 in Mexico to Severo and Eulalia (Armendariz) Jimenez. Mayolo has been a resident of Hereford since 1984. He has worked for several feed yards in the surrounding area. Mayolo loved to tell stories of his childhood to his nephew, Gabriel, who was the son he never had. Mayolo was a quite simple man with a big heart, who loved horses and animals, enjoyed spending time with his family and was a very hard worker.

Those left to cherish his memories are his brothers and sisters. Eleasar Jimenez of Hereford, Agustin Jimenez of Oklahoma, Gabriel Jimenez of Odessa, Fausto Jimenez of Mexico, Monica Delgado and Odilia Alvarez both of Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jose Guadalupe Jimenez and Severo Antonio Jimenez.
