Mary Kathryn Hoff Hagar, 90, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Hereford, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 11:30 A.M. at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas.  Viewing will be on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home.

Mary Kay was born in Decatur, IL on January 5, 1932, to Paul Macy Hoff and Mary Margaretha (Peg) Haas Hoff. She was raised in the Chicago area and the family moved to Texas in 1946. Mary Kay would often comment she got to Texas as quick as she could. She married Wesley Paul (Hap) Hagar on April 2, 1947. They had four children, Paul Alan, Kenneth Wayne, John Carroll and Kay Lynn.

Mary Kay was preceded in death by her husband Hap Hagar, her parents, Paul and Peg Hoff, sisters, Joanne Blackwell and Judy Sedgewick, daughter-in-law, Noel Hagar, and granddaughter-in-law Brenda Hagar.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Macy Hoff, Jr. and his wife Linda; children, Paul Hagar and his wife Linda of Portage, Wisconsin, Kenneth Hagar and his wife Shannon of Hereford, Texas, John Hagar of Del Rio, Texas, and Kay Brorman and her husband Jerry of Hereford, Texas; grandchildren, Kelby and Shandalyn Hagar, Donda Daniels, Dusty Hagar, Heather and Jacob Egnew, Kenny and Krishawna Hagar, Mary Alice and Lee Bauldin, Scott and Allison Brorman, Ann and Aaron Bednarz; great grandchildren, Dakota, Dylan and Dennim Daniels, Will and Clay Hagar, Trent Hagar, Kaylynn Tyre, DJ and Jazmin Tyre, Kellen Hagar, Kaylor and Landon Bauldin, Keegan, Caroline, Hannah, Collin Brorman, Casen, Bennett, Harrison, Nolan, Chloe Bednarz; and great-great grandchildren, Ian, Maddison, Asher, Leonardo, Princess, and Jessie.
