Mary Catherine "Cathy" Webb, 89, of Amarillo passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Amarillo. Private family graveside services will be held Friday at West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Cathy was born June 21, 1929 in Hereford, Texas to D.Y. and Edna (Hunter) Edwards. Cathy was raised in Hereford and was a resident of Hereford till 1975. She married J.D. Poarch and together they owned and operated a home building business, she helped with all the house plans and J.D. built the homes. They moved to Amarillo in 1975 and J.D. later passed away in 1976. Cathy remarried in 1979 to Kevin "Lee" Webb. Together her and Lee enjoyed camping and dancing the night away.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Lee Webb of Amarillo, three sons Jerry Poarch and his wife Carol of El Paso; Craig Poarch and his wife Robin of St. George, Utah and Kim Poarch and his wife Joan of Canyon; one step-son Stephen Webb and his wife Debby of Amarillo and one sister Helen Melugin of Amarillo; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, J.D. Poarch; two sons Randy and Doug Poarch; a step-son Michael Webb and two brothers and three sisters.
