Martin Flores Olivo, 77, peacefully passed away from this life to his eternal life with his Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Hereford. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Iglesia Vida with Pastor Israel Olivo officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. A viewing will be on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the funeral home from 4:00 -8:00 P.M., with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Martin was born in Del Rio, Texas, on July 29, 1944, to Jose Olivo and Julia Flores Olivo. He has been a resident of Hereford since 1969 and married Eresmila Lopez on January 5, 1988, in Hereford. Martin was a member of Iglesia Vida. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker, a man of faith, and had strong moral values.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Noemi Barrientos and her husband Concepcion of Hereford, Texas, Martin Olivo Jr. and his wife Susana of Hereford, Texas, Blanca Yzaguirre and her husband George of Clovis, New Mexico, Israel Olivo and his wife Rosenda of Hereford, Texas, and Maira Lizzeth L. Olivo of San Antonio; fifteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Julia Olivo, four brothers, two sisters, wife Eresmila Lopez Olivo, and two grandchildren, Mark Anthony Olivo and James Edmond Olivo.
