Martha Fuentes, 65, of Hereford, Texas passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 in Amarillo. Texas. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Stow officiating, burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A face mask must be worn for both the viewing and the funeral service and only 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at any one given time. Your safety and health matter to us.

Martha was born November 11, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Jesus and Paola (Castillo) Cadena. Martha has been a resident of Hereford since 1970. She was a homemaker, taking pride in caring for her children and her husband and, also worked for Whiteface Cleaners for nine years. Martha had a very giving and generous spirit giving to the Children's Miracle Network and Susan G. Komen (breast cancer foundation). Martha enjoyed crocheting, traveling, going to the casinos, driving around town drinking her favorite soda, Coca Cola, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and her favorite fur baby, Rusty, her Pomeranian.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Hope Flores and her husband Chris  and Robert Fuentes and his wife Vanessa all of Hereford; her siblings, George Cadena and his wife Nora, Adelina Luna and her husband Juan and Robert Cadena and his wife Mary all of Hereford and Freddie Cadena and his wife Mary of Oceanside, California; nine grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Maci, Johnny and Aerial Fuentes, John, Christopher, Erin and Zayn Flores and one great grandchild, Abram Fuentes and her fur baby, Rusty.

Martha is joining her parents, her husband, Robert Fuentes, Sr., three brothers, Adolfo, Frank and Luis Cadena and a sister, Gloria Cuellar in heaven.
