Marn Hall Tyler, a longtime resident of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at The Hereford Church of the Nazarene at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ted Taylor, Pastor Tyler Leavitt and Pastor Guy Walker officiating. A private burial will take place at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. A family and friend visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born October 5, 1928, in Floyd County, Texas, to Tom and Mintie Hall, Marn grew up in Floydada as the third youngest of six children. She graduated from Floydada High School, where she served as head cheerleader. On June 28, 1946, she married the love of her life, Nocky Tyler.

In 1952, they moved to the Panhandle and settled in the Walcott community, where Marn embraced life as a country girl. In 1964, they moved to Hereford, where she worked at Sears, First National Bank, and Holly Sugar to help support the family. In 1970, she earned her real estate license, and from then on, it was "get out of the way." She sold her first house that year and her last in 2025—a 55-year career in the Amarillo and Hereford area. Marn was a true force in real estate, selling homes, ranches, and farms, and loving every minute of it. She was a member of the ERA Million Dollar Club and served as president of the Hereford Board of Realtors in 1999.

Marn was deeply involved in charitable work, including the Boy Scouts, Boys Ranch, and especially Girlstown, her favorite. She founded the "Beef for Girlstown" project, encouraging local cattlemen to donate beef to feed the girls. She also served as president of the Hereford Cowbells in 1994, enjoying the camaraderie of that group of women.

Marn had a gift for connecting with people. She loved deeply, judged little, and made everyone feel seen and valued. Her greatest joy, however, came from being "Momo" to her grandchildren. She filled their lives with love, laughter, sleepovers, baked treats, lake adventures, RV trips, and ski vacations to Sipapu and Angel Fire. Those memories remain her most cherished legacy.

She is survived by her children: Nancy Victor, Kelly Tyler, and Jerry Tyler (wife Charlotte), all of Amarillo; seven grandchildren: Donna Vanlandingham, Jared Victor, Jamie Brickhouse (husband Stan), Jim Tyler (wife Rachel), Cassie Lowe, and Adam Tyler; 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Vel Simpson, Jodie Mathews, Barbara Womble, and sister-in-law Kay Hall.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Nocky Tyler, daughter-in-law Jaki Tyler, grandsons Kim Tyler and Cary Vanlandingham, and brothers GV and Elmo Hall.

The Tyler family is forever grateful to Janie Robles, David Marnell, and Becky Valdez for their support in recent years. Special thanks also to the doctors, nurses, and staff at BSA for their excellent care and compassion.
