Margie Scroggins, 62, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, in Hereford, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Victory Family Worship Center with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez officiating. Burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.

Margie was born January 3, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas to Johnny and Mary (Rubio) Romero. Margie has been a resident of Hereford, Texas since the 70's. She married the love of her life Randy Scroggins on June 15, 1979. Margie was employed presently and had been a caseworker for 34 years at Texas Panhandle Centers of Behavioral & Developmental Health in Hereford, Texas. Margie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, who enjoyed shopping, especially on QVC, watching NFL football, was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. She took pleasure in attending all her grandchildren's activities, but most of all she loved and adored her family and grandchildren and cherished their time together. Margie had a servant's heart and always put the needs of others before her own, she will be dearly missed by many.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Randy Scroggins of Hereford, Texas, her children Marybell Cavazos of Amarillo, Texas, Josh Scroggins and his wife Lindsey of Canyon, Texas and Monica Salinas and her husband Fabian of Amarillo, Texas; her mother Mary Romero of Amarillo, Texas; her siblings Martha Romero, Larry Romero and his wife Heather and Eddie Romero and his wife Lupe all of Amarillo, Texas; 9 grandchildren Jhonathan Hernandez, Marissa Hernandez, Kolby Scroggins, Brianna Scroggins, Tyler Scroggins, Jayden Salinas, Brayden Salinas, Kaydence Salinas and Linkin Salinas and 1 great grandchild on the way.

Margie is preceded in death by her father Johnny G. Romero.
