Marcos Dionicio Torres Sierra "Marquitos", 34, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at San Jose Catholic Church at 2:00 P.M. with Father Ramon Molina officiating, burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. The Torres family has entrusted Funeral Services to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at the San Jose Catholic Church. A viewing will be held at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. - 12: 00 P.M.

Marcos was born to his loving parents, Dionicio Torres and Rosario Sierra Torres in Hereford, Texas on April 22, 1990. Marcos was born and raised in Hereford, graduating from Hereford High Class of '08. Growing up Marcos was highly intelligent, caring, and had a strong work ethic. He was very sociable, loved to make others laugh with a joke or just seeing his loved one's smile made him happy. Marcos became a remarkably successful entrepreneur and operated several businesses. He created the family-owned business Torres Media. Marcos worked hard for his loving family, he always made sure that was his priority "family first." Marcos was a significant role model for so many and he gave back to the schools and the community. He always dressed sharp and had a profound sense of style, always had a nice pair of stylish shoes on his feet.

Marcos was not afraid of taking risks, he was extremely brave. However, he knew life was supposed to be lived happily and not so serious all the time. Marcos traveled internationally for work and vacations, he experienced many places and enjoyed his time with his family and friends. Marcos was respected by his loved ones, and he loved to spend time with his family, they were his everything. He adored his parents, brothers, and nieces and nephews. Lily, his beautiful niece that he cherished captured his heart and held a special place in his big heart.

Those left to carry on his legacy are his parents, Dionicio and Rosario Torres; his sibling's, Diana Torres, Guero Torres and Itzel, German Torres and Jasmine, Tavo Torres and Christina all of Hereford, Texas; his nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, Janet, Nonoy, Tete, Ñoñi, Lily, Gigi, Yoyo, Sarahi and one baby blessing on the way all of Hereford, Texas;

Those preceding him in passing are his maternal grandparents, Isaac Sierra and Martha (Razo) Sierra; his paternal grandparents, Dionicio Torres and Fransica (Ramirez) Torres; his sister, Maria de Rosario Torres Sierra; his Tia, Agustina Torres.
