MaEsperanza "Hopi" Campos, 33, of Conroe, Texas formerly of Hereford, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in Conroe, Texas. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Hopi was born June 9, 1988, in Dimmitt, Texas to Hector M. and AnaVelia (Celaya) Campos. Hopi was a graduate of Hereford High School, shortly after graduation she moved to Hillsboro, Texas and later made her home in Conroe, Texas, and has been a resident there for the last 18 years. Hopi was a homemaker most of her life, but the last two years she been a caregiver for home health. Hopi enjoyed dancing, listening to music and spending time with her family. She was the rock of her family always checking in with her siblings to make sure life was treating them good; she was very loving, caring and a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend that will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Victor Rodriguez of Conroe, Texas, her mother, AnaVelia Campos of Hereford, Texas; 2 brothers, Eric Campos and his wife Noami of Hereford, Texas and Hector Daniel Campos and his wife Ciria of Conroe, Texas; her 2 fur babies, Nancy and Sophie; 3 nieces, Daninna, Aviana and Cyana Campos all of Hereford, Texas, a nephew, Hector Ignacio Campos of Hereford, Texas, her grandmother, Maria Celaya of Hereford, Texas and grandfather, Eustacio Celaya of Hereford, Texas, her aunt, Gloria Cruz of Canyon, Texas and her 2 uncles, Johnny Celaya of Hereford, Texas and Jesus Campos and his wife Elizabeth of Friona, Texas, several cousins, Manuel Cruz, Armando Cruz, Rebecca Canida all of Amarillo, Texas, Claudia Campos of Friona, Texas, Sergio Campos and George Campos both of Hereford, Texas.
